Golaem to present at Paris Game/AI Conference 2011

Golaem will present Golaem Crowd, the Crowd Simulation software for Autodesk Maya at Paris Game/AI Conference 2011.

On friday, June 24th at 10am, Clodéric Mars, R&D software engineer, will talk about the tools that were developed in Golaem Crowd to make autonomous characters directable. The presentation will focus on the characters automous navigation and the new direction possibilities it allows.

Golaem will be exhibiting at the FMX Conference in Stuttgart, May 3-6, 2011. For the first time, Golaem will showcase Golaem Crowd, its brand new product for Autodesk® Maya®, as well as demonstrate its middleware tools for autonomous virtual humans.

Golaem to present at ParisFX 2010

Golaem and its partner Mikros Image will introduce the Golaem for Autodesk® Maya® software prototype at ParisFxLab (on december 16th, 14h30). Strongly integrated in your 3d artist favorite tool, it allows to easily simulate biped and quadruped controllable crowds in minutes.

ParisFx is the first french event devoted to special effects and digital technology. During two days (15th & 16th december 2010), producers, directors, post-production houses and VFX supervisors will demonstrate their mastering of CGI and VFX via case studies, round tables and presentation of images from upcoming films.

Golaem at SIGGRAPH Asia 2010, Seoul

This is the third edition of SIGGRAPH Asia, following its debut in Singapore in 2008 and a successful show in Japan in 2009. Having staged SIGGRAPH in North America for 37 years, the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) presented SIGGRAPH Asia to bring digital innovations from around the globe to the region, while tapping into its vibrant and emerging digital media landscape. Golaem at Paris Game AI Conference.

Paris Game AI Conference is a yearly technical conference about artificial intelligence in game development. This event will take place from 23/06 to 24/06 at the CNAM in Paris. Clodéric Mars, Golaem Software Engineer, will attend the conference.

Golaem announces FMX2010 participation

Golaem will be presenting a technical talk entitled Golaem Behavior Factory: Software for Modeling and Simulating Human Behaviors at FMX2010 in Stuttgart, Germany. 

Presented by Golaem's CTO Stephane Donikinan, the session will look at two Golaem software components : 

  • Golaem Behavior Pack manages predefined classic behaviors (find a path, navigate, look at, grasp…), and is adaptable both to the configuration of the digital mock-up and to the morphology of characters.
  • Golaem Activity providing an authoring tool for human activity description situated in an informed environment, and a runtime engine processing activities described with this graphical language.
