Matte
As of August 5th, 2025, Golaem will no longer provide direct support.
All support for Autodesk Golaem will now be handled exclusively through Autodesk support channels and this website will be deactivated soon.

The Arnold Matte flags for each Golaem asset are inherited from the Crowd Render Proxy attributes. You can override them on a per mesh basis in the Character Maker through Renderer Attributes or using Arnold Operators.
When set on the Crowd Render Proxy, it is necessary to check both the Matte and the Override Matte Attributes in the Arnold panel. When set per mesh, both the Matte and Override Matte Attributes have to be unchecked.

The Matte attribute can be set on a per mesh basis using the Renderer Attributes:
