There are various way to import your Golaem characters data in Houdini. You can export it as point cloud (see here), use the Golaem Procedural for USD (see here) or open it directly with the Golaem for Houdini plugin like in the tutorial below. In this section, we present a method to render Golaem simulations with Houdini. The really big advantage of this method is that it avoids baking out geometry from Maya, interacts with Houdini FX and can be rendered using Mantra.
